The Body Count is a pilot for a web series created by animators Chris Voigt and Chris Russell. It is part of an assignment for the Animation program at the Queensland College of Art, Brisbane.
The assignment is to create and pitch an animated TV show. We chose to pitch a web series instead, and to create an entire first episode instead of a production bible, and to release it several weeks before the pitch so we can talk about how it went .
In theory, one 1-2 minute episode would be released every week and the series would generate income by selling merchandise and advertising space. This isn't a legitimite commercial venture, it's just an assignment for university, but if you liked the first episode and would like to see more please support the show by buying a t-shirt or making a donation. If we actually do make some money from the first episode, we will make more!
The Body Count is based on The Lathering, a one page comic drawn by Peter Kozak, James Paterson, Peter Yong and Chris Voigt.
